ARDOR
Project Type: Web Design + Branding
Client: Academic
Year: 2025
Ardor is a Greek and Argentinian fusion restaurant centered around connection and shared experiences. The challenge was to create both a cohesive brand and a fully custom website in Figma that captured this idea clearly and effectively.
Designed for large families and groups, Ardor solves the common struggle of finding a place that satisfies everyone. Its diverse menu and warm, inviting atmosphere make it a reliable gathering spot, while the brand’s colors, textures, and imperfect edges reflect the uniqueness of every family.
Connection & Conversation
Connection and conversation are central to Ardor’s message, so the website was designed to feel easy and intuitive, with no clutter or friction. It was important to make group decision-making simple, including a clear path to reserve a table. The main call to action allows users to quickly share Ardor in a group chat, making it easy to discuss and decide together.
Not everything goes according to plan…
With limited prior web design experience, the process quickly became a lesson in balancing visual ideas with usability. Not every concept translated well to UI, so designs were simplified to improve clarity, flow, and overall function. This shift ultimately strengthened the user experience.
The Outcome
The final site is clean, intuitive, and built for easy decision-making. Users can quickly explore the menu, make reservations, and share the restaurant with their group, removing the usual friction of planning. Ardor’s branding and website work together to position it as more than a restaurant—it’s a place that brings people together.
